Dom Daher – Areal Surf Photography

Dom Daher came up with a fresh idea, he mounted his camera on a remote controlled hellicopter and shot areal photos of Pro surfer Tim Boal.  He also switched the camera with couple flashes and took photos from the beach with 500mm lens.

  1. I wonder if they got any shots closer into the action. It seems as though a model helicopter allows you to get the aerial view point but also let’s you get closer to the action than a real helicopter.

    Mounting the flashes on the heli was killer. I expect to see some of those shots in next year’s Red Bull Illume!
